Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (born 1960) is the second son of Queen Elizabeth II and was formerly known as the Duke of York. A veteran of the Falklands War, his public career ended following intense scrutiny over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. On October 31, 2025, King Charles III issued a historic directive, formally stripping him of his "Prince" title, HRH style, and remaining military honours. Per the King's orders, he is now known simply as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Charles also served formal notice to revoke his lease on Royal Lodge, mandating a move to a modest Sandringham farmhouse by Easter 2026 to sever his official ties to the monarchy.
