ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government has decided to restore the previous time by moving the clocks backward by one hour from October 1.
A formal announcement to this effect will be made after the Prime Minister grants approval in this regard.
The Federal Government had the clocks forwarded by one hour at the onset of summer season on the request of the Ministry of Water and Power with an aim to save energy.
PEPCO saved up to 300 to 350 MW electricity under the daylight saving time. |
