Cheap electric power could be the panacea for most of our financial problems. Cheap power will gradually reduce inflation and bring internal and external investment for industries that will create jobs and produce exports.
Besides building more cheap power, we need to do away with IPPs as they unduly add to the power generation cost. I wonder why steps have not been taken to get rid of IPPs already. Public investment in solar power will multiply, if IPPs adages are removed.
