LAHORE: MMA chief, Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said that the Majlis-Amal would go to the extreme in opposing the Women Rights Bill of the Select Committee and against the Bajaur attacks.

Talking to the media on the sidelines of the meeting of ‘Markazi Shoora’ of the Jamaat-e-Islami at Mansura here, Qazi Hussain Ahmad told that none of the seminaries in the country has remained safe, as if the US today has attacked the seminary at Bajaur, then they could attack any place tomorrow.

He said that he would be finalizing a joint strategy in this regard by taking the clerics across the country into confidence.

He said that the MMA wanted to get the Bill passed for the enforcement of Shariat in NWFP and the federal government was stopping it from doing so.

MMA chief said that the joint strategy regarding the resignations from the parliament as well as against Bajaur attacks would be finalized in the MMA Supreme Council’s meeting slated November 9 in Islamabad.
