A gang of dacoits opened fire at the salesmen of a jewellery shop on resistance during a dacoity in Dheri Hassanabad, wounding two of them and ran away with gold ornaments to the tune of Rs10 million on Saturday, the police spokesman said.

 

Four gunmen entered into a jewellery shop at main bazaar, Dhairi Hassanabad, and held all the employees and owner at gun point, police said and adding, as one of the employee who was held at gunpoint by a dacoit, attempted to overpower him, his other aides open firing causing injuries to two of the employees. They dacoits escaped away with cash and gold.
