Usher discusses about his performance at this year's Met Gala
Usher explains why he's not performing at 2024 Meta Gala
Usher has recently discussed about his performance at this year's Met Gala on Tuesday.
"I've been performing all year," said the singer in an exclusive intervie with E! News.
Usher, who took over the Super Bowl halftime show in February, stated, "I get to relax tonight."
The Yeah! crooner looked dapper in a custom Alexander McQueen design paired with Jacob & Co jewelry at this year's event, which was held at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The musician described his look as "romantic, exotic and a bit European".
Earlier speaking to CBS Mornings, Usher talked about jam-packed schedule over the past 12 months.
The singer reportedly tied the knot with Jennifer Goicoechea in a Las Vegas ceremony.
"I've never literally walked on stage and said, 'Thank you guys for recognising what I do,'" he remarked.
However, Usher mentioned, "I can say I actually played the Super Bowl."
The OMG crooner noted that his Las Vegas residency played a role in his Super Bowl goal.
"I believe in the idea of manifestation and affirmations, right?" he continued.
Usher explained, "The moment that I heard—I'll tell you this now 'cause I have it."
"The moment I heard that they were entertaining the Super Bowl comin' to Vegas, I was like, 'I'm not leaving,'" he added.
