DUBAI: The Central Asian countries have invited Pakistani tourists to come to new markets to explore extraordinary opportunities and visit Uzbekistan, particularly to pay homage at great Islamic scholar Imam Bukhari’s shrine in Samarkand.
With the promotion of cultural and religious exchanges and leveraging shared historical ties, Central Asian countries are ready to offer new opportunities for tourists worldwide, specially Pakistanis.
A focal point of the invitation was Uzbekistan’s famed Imam Bukhari (RA) holy shrine in Samarkand, a revered site for Muslims worldwide. Emphasizing the historical and religious significance of the shrine, officials highlighted its allure as a must-visit destination for Pakistani travellers and Arab tourists.
Uzbekistan’s representatives further announced plans for direct flights from Pakistan to Uzbekistan, aiming to strengthen ties between the two nations and facilitate seamless travel for tourists.
“This initiative is expected to foster direct interaction between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Pakistan, enabling them to forge deeper connections and explore mutual opportunities”, Uzbekistan Tourism Executive Director Khalid Juni stated.
