BANNU: Leaders of various political parties and government officials on Friday offered condolences to former chief minister and Leader of the Opposition in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Akram Khan Durrani, over the demise of his young son, Ziad Akram Durrani.


Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Dost Muhammad Khan, Provincial Minister for Health Syed Zahir Ali Shah, Additional Inspector General of Police Akhtar Ali Shah and former district nazim Peshawar Azam Khan Afridi visited the residence of Akram Durrani and condoled the death of his son.


President Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Mian Nawaz Sharif, PML-N leader Senator Ishaq Dar, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Yaqoob and Justice Shakirullah Jan and others offered condolences by phone to Akram Durrani.
