19 killed in Lal mosque clashes: Sherpao   Updated at: 1910 PST, Thursday, July 05, 2007     ISLAMABAD: Giving update about the Lal mosque standoff, Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao on Thursday admitted that 19 people were killed in clashes between the forces and the students of Lal mosque so far. Addressing a press conference amid full-fledged “silence operation”, which was launched by forces at Lal mosque and Jamia Hafsa, he said over 50 people were inside the premises of Lal mosque and Jamia Hafsa.
