LAHORE: The Punjab Charities Commission has decided to provide phased training to more than 6,000 NGOs and welfare organizations registered in the province to make them aware of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing laws, among other modern charities laws. The training will start on May 8 from Lahore division. In this training program, persons of NGOs, trusts and welfare institutions registered with the Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Punjab Charities Commission, Industries Department, Punjab Board of Revenue and Social Welfare Department will be made aware of the rules. In the one-day session of the first phase, there will be training of 120 NGOs of Lahore division.
