ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released the list of party positions in the National Assembly, according to which the ruling PMLN is the largest party.
Likewise, according to Geo News, the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) is second in the National Assembly and PPP occupies the third place. The commission said the number of PMLN members in the legislature has increased to 120 and the number of Sunni Ittehad Council members is 82.
According to the ECP, the PPP has 71 seats in the National Assembly while MQM has 21 seats, JUIF 11, Pakistan Muslim League five and the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party four.
The commission says Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen, PML-Zia and Balochistan Awami Party have one seat each, Balochistan National Party, National Party and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party also have one seat each. Moreover, the number of independent members in the National Assembly is seven.
