The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) arrested two suspects for their alleged involvement in target killing and street crime cases, and recovered arms from their possession on Saturday.

According to SIU (Karachi) chief SSP Khurram Waris, they received information that some suspects involved in target killing cases were hiding in Lyari Railway Station area.

Consequently, a raid was conducted and Abdul Majeed and Najeebullah were arrested after an encounter. Police recovered two TT pistols from their possession.

During interrogation, the suspects revealed that they had killed several people affiliated with various political parties, besides murdering SIU informer Javed Khaskheli in Nazimabad area. Further investigation was underway.
