Customer satisfaction survey launched

To ensure customer satisfaction and enhance quality, reliability, relevance and timeliness of statistical data, Bureau of Statistics (BoS), Punjab, with technical support of GIZ (a federal German enterprise specialised in the field of international cooperation), is conducting a user satisfaction survey. 

For this purpose BoS, Punjab has posted questionnaires to different user groups and has also developed and launched a web-based version of this questionnaire to the ease of potential respondents. Director General, BoS, Punjab Shamim Rafique and Director Sajid Rasul highlighted the importance of the media in creating awareness about the significance of statistics among civil society. They said BoS governed by the Planning and Development (P&D) Department, provided statistical data on various economic and social aspects of Punjab to policymakers, politicians, researchers and other government and private organisations. They expressed their gratitude to the GIZ for its technical support and cooperation and appreciated the efforts of GIZ experts, particularly Johan Sjoestrand and Sohaib Mahmood. GIZ on the behalf of Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Germany is supporting Pakistan in many different areas and one of its support programmers in Pakistan is related to bringing governance related reforms in the area of official statistics at federal and provincial level.
