Rs2 million distributed among PINS employees
LAHORE: The Punjab Institute of Neurosciences has equally distributed Rs2 million honorarium to its 828 employees of grades 1 to 17.
PINS Executive Director Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood said that all the employees of the institute had continued the uninterrupted treatment of patients during the corona epidemic and without caring for their own lives. It was decided to reward them with commendation and encouragement for their service which had been implemented immediately, he said. He stated it was also ensured that all employees were treated equally without any discrimination and hence an amount of Rs2 million has been distributed among them so that no one had any objection in this regard.
The medical officers, nursing staff, clerical staff, paramedics and other employees expressed their gratitude on receiving the cash award and expressed their determination to continue working with the same dedication and spirit in future too.
