Two car dealers arrested again after fleeing from court over bail plea rejection
Police rearrested two suspects who managed to flee from a court after their bail pleas were rejected in a fraud case on Tuesday.
The suspects, who are brothers, had been first arrested in a raid conducted by Ferozabad police on the night between Monday and Tuesday at a hotel near Jinnah International Airport. One of companions of the suspects had managed to flee during the raid.
The suspects, Shaikh Sheraz and Shaikh Moiz, are brothers and owners of a well-known car showroom. Police said the two had received Rs4.5 million from a citizen in exchange of a car, but the citizen had later registered a case against them after they had neither given him the car nor returned the cash. The brothers escaped from the court after their bail pleas were rejected. The suspects were arrested again, but their companion, Shaikh Sarmad managed to flee.
