Promoting tourism

The incumbent government is determined to take every step to promote tourism in the country. Such steps will not only help generate more revenue but will also play a big role in improving the country’s global image. Many people know about tourism in the northern areas but, unfortunately, they are unaware of tourism options in Waziristan. This is because the government is not promoting this area. Also, over the last few years, this area was mentioned in the mainstream media only when it witnessed a terror attack. However, because of the impressive reach of social media, many people are now able to see the beautiful and stunning places in this region. In Waziristan, places like Razmak, Makin, Shawal, Ladha and Baddar have a lot to offer. It is true that the area is still facing a lot of problems including poor roads and a lack of hotels and restaurants. Also, the numerous terror attacks in the region do create a wave of fear among potential tourists. However, it is the responsibility of the government to take effective steps to deal with these issues and bring tourism opportunities to Waziristan.

The government’s effective steps will help generate revenue for the locals who mostly rely on the money sent by their family members working in the Middle East.
