Remote areas

This refers to the letter ‘Limited access’ (June 12) by Shakir Aslam. The writer has talked about an important issue. He says that the government has not taken effective steps to provide Covid-19 vaccine doses to people in remote areas. The authorities need to realise that people who are living in remote areas don’t know much about this virus. They need government assistance and support.

The government must start awareness campaigns in these areas and build vaccination centres to begin the inoculation process in a timely manner.
