18 suspects arrested in Hangu

HANGU:  The police arrested 18 suspected persons and seized arms from them during search operations in various areas in the district on Friday, an official said. Talking to reporters, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Rafiullah Khan said that the police launched search and strike operation in Merobak, Lakhti Banda, Camp and Kandow Killay and arrested 18 suspected persons including eight accused. The police also seized a Kalashnikov, two rifles and three pistols from the arrested persons.
