Dacoits continue looting spree

GUJRANWALA: Dacoits looted cash, gold ornaments, cell phones and other valuables in 25 incidents here on Tuesday.
Two dacoits intercepted Robina Bibi at Sadar area and snatched gold ornaments and cash from her. Bandits looted Rs 31,000 and two cell phones from Ghulam Nabi at Kamoke while dacoits took away valuables from Nasir and his wife from Kot Ladha. Bandits looted Rs 29,000 and cell phones from Shahid at Ferozewala while Naveed was deprived of Rs 14,000 by dacoits. Dacoits snatched Rs 21,000 and two cell phones from Imran at Kamoke while two dacoits looted Rs 15,000 and a cell phone from Zahid near Kot Inayat. Bandits deprived Rana Wajid of Rs 35,000 and two cell phones at Wahndo while dacoits looted valuables from Naveed. Bandits snatched Rs 13,000 and a cell phone from Moazzam and Mubeen at Aroop while dacoits looted Rs 10,000 and a motorcycle from Tabassum at Civil Lines. Three bandits entered the shop of Hamid at Cantt and decamped with Rs 13,000 and other valuables. Two dacoits snatched a motorcycle from Rizwan at Sohdra Mor. The bikes of Nazir, Hamid Nasir, Bilal, Saleem, Rauf, Mushtaq, Rafiq, Shoaib, Ghulam Abbas, Abdul Rauf, Nasrullah and Ayaz were stolen from different areas of the city.
MAN KILLS SISTER: A man gunned down his sister over a domestic issue at Aroop on Tuesday.
Accused Bhola and his married sister Shakeela, a mother of three children, quarrelled over some domestic issue. Later, the accused allegedly shot her dead. Civil Lines police have registered a case.
