BAHAWALPUR: A four-and-a-half-year old girl was raped by an eight class student at Chak 22, Hameedabad, on Tuesday night.
The daughter of Rab Nawaz was allegedly raped by accused Younis in a field. Later, people caught the accused and handed him over to Inaiti police. The girl was shifted to the THQ Hospital Khairpur, Tamiwali. The police have registered a case.
3 INJURED IN CROSSFIRE: Three youth were injured during crossfire between two rival groups near Farid Gate on Wednesday.
The members of both rival groups gathered outside the Farid Gate to settle their issues and withdraw their cases filed against them. In the meantime, the members of both groups started firing on each other when they failed to reconcile. As a result, Muhammad Zaman, Sher Muhammad and passer-by Muhammad Idrees sustained bullet injuries and rushed to a hospital.
