Pakistan welcomes promulgation of Nepal’s new constitution

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday welcomed the promulgation of a new constitution in Nepal through a democratic process. “We felicitate the government and the political parties of Nepal on this achievement. Pakistan is confident that the new constitution will further cement the foundations of democracy in Nepal,” said a Foreign Office statement. The president and the prime minister of Pakistan have congratulated their Nepalese counterparts on this historic achievement. Pakistan also wished the people of Nepal peace and prosperity.
