Homer said "Labour conquers all things". The torchbearer of Urdu journalism in Pakistan, Mir Khalil-ur-Rahman's son Mir Javed-ur-Rahman breathed hist last in a private hospital a few days back. A very industrious entrepreneur who was the publisher of the Jang Group for decades, he remained an ardent supporter of constructive journalism and free press in Pakistan.
Mir Javed was a professional par excellence. He brought various innovations into his newspapers and his ability to lead from the front brought him success. He always remained low profile and avoided the limelight. May his soul rest in peace.
