Following the State Bank’s directive, all banks continue to remain open during the lockdown and providing normal banking services.
However, National Savings Centers remain shut which is a cause for great inconvenience for the retirees/pensioners who keep their savings with them. The Ministry of Finance is requested to issue a directive to the Directorate of National Savings to order the reopening and functioning of their centers during the lockdown just like banks.
