Makro closes outlet in Lines Area

KARACHI: Thal Limited has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Makro Habib Pakistan Limited has closed its business outlet in Lines Area.
"The Supreme Court of Pakistan has dismissed the review petition and as a consequence Saddar store located in Lines Area has been closed down on September 11, 2015," a bourse filing said.
In December last, the apex court in a suo motu action had ordered to restore 4.9 acres of land on which the infrastructure was built to its original playground status.
The company approached the court with a review petition, which was dismissed also.
