Two DSPs suspended on serious charges
NAWABSHAH: The Additional Inspector General Police Hyderabad, Dr Waliullah Dal, has suspended two DSPs for gross indiscipline, unlawful detentions and influencing investigations to benefit those involved in serious crimes.
The suspended officers included DSP CIA Fida Hussain Chandio and DSP Qazi Ahmed Makhdoom Ghulam Muhammad. SSP Tanveer Hussain Tunio said that DSP CIA Chandio is accused of unlawfully detaining people and would allegedly release them only on payment of extortion. DSP Qazi Ahmed Makhdoom, SSP Tunio charged was involved in influencing the investigation of the theft of railway tracks of the Qazi Ahmed Railway Loop Line. Makhdoom was allegedly found involved in benefitting the accused by influencing the investigations. Tunio said that investigation would be conducted.
