PESHAWAR: The Bacha Khan Trust Education Foundation (BKTEF) is providing education to 7,000 students at 15 schools in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an official said. Speaking at a function arranged at the Bacha Khan Markaz, BKTEF Managing Director Dr Khadim Hussain said that the foundation was providing an alternative educational model. He said that 300 teachers of the BKTEF schools were preparing children for leadership roles, adding that their education system focuses on activity-based learning. Dr Khadim Hussain said that visual arts, performing arts, folklore and crafts were an essential part of the education system. He said students of the BKTEF schools have secured scholarships abroad while it had achieved 100 pc results.
