Arms seized

THE National Highways and Motorway Police N-5 Central have arrested a criminal on national highways near Kasowal and recovered illegal arms and ammunition from him. The Motorway Police, Central Zone Patrolling Officers Mian Ashiq Hussain and Muhammad Rafiq during the patrolling observed a suspicious man on the national highways who ran away after seeing the NH&MP patrolling officers. The patrolling officers asked him to stop but he tried to escape. However, patrolling officer successfully managed to arrest the criminal namely Bashir Ahmed r/o Lahore and recovered illegal arms and ammunition from him. The arrested criminal along with recovered weapons was handed over to local police for further investigation. Zonal Commander DIG Mirza Faran Baig appreciated the bravery and excellent performance of patrol officers.
