Locals deprived of cash, valuables in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Robbers and thieves Monday deprived locals of cash, valuables and vehicles in different areas of Gujranwala.
Three dacoits barged into the shop of Saleem in the area of Aroop police station. He opened firing at dacoits and with the help of locals he overpowered two dacoits identified as Sumandar Khan and Sikandar Khan and the third one managed to escape. The dacoits were handed to police.
Three gunmen intercepted Gulraz and his wife and snatched gold ornaments, Rs 3,000 and a mobile phone in the area of Alipur Chattha Police.
Two robbers snatched a new motorbike from Fakhrudin in the limits of Alipur Chattha.
Four dacoits broke into the house of Fakhr Zaman in Qila Dedar Singh locality and took away three tola gold, Rs 20,000 and other valuables.
In the area of Qila Dedar Singh two dacoits snatched motorbike No GAK-2892 from Gahzi in the remits of Qila Dedar Singh police.
At Ladhywala locality four robbers entered the house of Dawood and took the family hostage and took away two tola gold, cash and other valuables.
In Noshera Virkan three robbers intercepted Sameer who was riding a motorbike and deprived him of his mobile phone and Rs 27,000.
In the area of Sadr Kamoki police station two dacoits intercepted Waseem and snatched Rs 25,000 and a mobile phone from him.
In the remits of Sadr Gujranwala police station, two robbers intercepted Adnan and snatched Rs 17,000 and a mobile phone from him. In the same police area, two bandits snatched Rs 9,000 and two mobile phones from Allah Ditta.
In the area of Eminabad police, two bandits intercepted Mujjahid and snatched Rs 40,000.
In the City Wazirabad police station area, three gunmen snatched cash from Manzar.
In the area of Peoples Colony police station, four dacoits intercepted Liaquat and snatched his motorbike STM-8375. Two robbers snatched a new motorcycle from Karamat in the area of Baghbanpura police.
