Walk for clean environment

LAHORE:A walk to highlight the need for better environment was held on Wednesday. The walk was organised by Bonded Labour Liberation Front (BLLF) in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department and Baitul Maal.

People from all walks of life participated in the event. The speakers included BLLF General Secretary Syeda Ghulam Fatima and Social Welfare Divisional Director Mubashir Javed. Syeda Ghulam Fatima said that a clean and hygienic environment was the fundamental right of all citizens.

Workshop: A two-day workshop on CSSD & Patients Safety, Friendly Hospital was held at Lahore General Hospital here on Wednesday. Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute & Ameer Uddin Medical College Prof Dr Al-fareed Zafar and senior professors from different hospitals were among the speakers who expressed their views on the importance of cleanliness.
