GC without VC

The Government College University, Lahore, is one of the best institutions of the country. It produced great names such as Allama Iqbal, Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Dr Abdus Salam and many more. However, this great centre of learning has been running without a vice-chancellor since the last month.
The provincial government has failed to appoint a VC. That is a crime against this great centre of learning. One wonders how things are being administered because every official file requires the signature of vice-chancellor and there is no vice-chancellor in the college. The Punjab CM is requested to pay attention to this issue.
