Stage dancer shot dead

MULTAN: A stage dancer was shot dead in his house at Mohallah Nizamabad on Monday. Complainant Mirza Suhail Abbas told Kotwali police that dancer Malik Sultan Gogi was standing on the roof of his house and busy talking someone on his mobile phone when someone knocked at the door. Gogi asked his family members from his roof to open the door as there would be Haroon. To it, one of his family members opened the door and Haroon also went on the roof. Haroon took out his pistol and allegedly fired at Gogi, but it missed him. He again fired and the bullet hit Gogi. As a result, he was injured while the killer fled along with a biker was waiting for him outside the house. Gogi died on way to the Nishtar Hospital. The police have registered a case against Haroon and his accomplice.
