BU holds lecture, workshop

Bahria University promotes quality culture by conducting workshops, seminars and guest lectures on regular basis. As a capacity building exercise, Quality Enhancement Cell of Bahria University, invited Brig (r) Engineer Salim Ahmed Khan, Director Quality Enhancement at Riphah International University, to deliver a lecture on ‘Improving Relevance and Quality of Undergraduate Education’ and to conduct a workshop on preparation of Self-Assessment Reports. Pro- Rector, Rear Admiral (r) Salim Akhtar, directors, research scholars and maximum available faculty members attended the lecture.
In the first session, the guest speaker highlighted the mechanism and the good practices through the case studies for improving relevance and quality of undergraduate education. He explained the significant roles of the stakeholders that include students and faculty, in improving the quality of education. The case study regarding the grooming of the new entrants in the university was also very interesting and impressive.
