Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) will train 8,085 students in employable trades across the province of the Punjab.
The youth will be trained free of cost under the Prime Minister Youth Skill Development Programme in collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC).
Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh stated this while addressing a meeting for launching the Prime Minister Youth Skill Development Programme, according to a press release issued on Wednesday. Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi, General Manager (Operations) TEVTA Hamid Ghani Anjum, and other officers were also present. Irfan Qaiser Shaikh said the training programme would be commenced from June.
