The weather is expected to get hotter as the week progresses with temperature most likely measuring close to 40 degree Celsius.
The weather on Monday (today) is going to be dry and hot with the summer sun operating uninterrupted by any clouds. The maximum temperature on Sunday was 38 degree Celsius while the minimum was 21. In the next 24 hours, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.
However, rain-thundershowers are expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. In the last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, however, isolated rain-thunderstorm occurred in upper KP, Islamabad, upper Punjab and Kashmir.
As a result, rain was recorded at Rawalakot 3 mm, Islamabad, Kotli, Muzaffarabad 2, Balakot and Rawalpindi 1mm. The maximum temperature in the country was 47 degrees recorded Larkana.
