Genius system

Traffic with streetlights and no freeway is bound to stagnate. Traffic with freeways and no streetlights is chaos. For developing countries to succeed they need an emerging society – not just an emerging market as the free trade world would have us believe. Putting the market before society in Pakistan is an invitation to trouble, and disappointment.
Pakistan needs to be graded not by its GDP or NNP. It should be graded on its quality of governance, education, judicial system, procedures to settle disputes, social safety net, rule of law and economic policies. All this needs a lot of patience, hard work and participation by people. Any system designed by a genius can be run by an idiot but a system designed by an idiot cannot be run by even a genius.
