GUJRANWALA: A relative of a union council chairman was gunned down while his son and a nephew sustained bullet injuries over a land dispute here at Gondlanwala. According to deatils, police constable Chand Butt and Gujjar groups had an old enmity over a land dispute and reportedly UC chairman Shoaib Butt backed the Gujjar group.
On the day of the incident, the men of both the groups exchanged harsh words and men of Chand Butt group opened fire, injuring Ali, close relative of the UC chairman, his son Talha and his nephew Ehtisham. The injured were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital where Ali died.
