Many areas in Islamabad and Rawalpindi lack proper street signs, depriving drivers of useful knowledge on how fast they should drive, where the road ends and whether or not to take a U-turn. The absence of street signs can lead to tragic fatal accidents.
These signs shouldn’t be restricted to motorways. In fact, all streets should have proper signs and guidance boards. The authorities concerned should take tangible steps on an urgent basis.
