Boy strangled by rivals

BAHAWALPUR: A 14-year-old boy was abducted
and strangled by his rivals at Niazabad in Bakhshan
Khan police limits on Thursday. M Amir, Fateh Muhammad and Allah Yar along with their unidentified accomplices allegedly kidnapped Arslan from outside his house over an old enmity. Later, the accused strangled him and threw his body in a garden.
TWO KIDS RECOVERED: Chishtian B-Division police recovered two children from a brick kiln on Manghair Sharif Road on Thursday. The police raided the brick kiln of Atif Maqsood and recovered nine-year—old Asad and 11-year-old Abdullah from there.
