Scattered rain forecast

LAHORE: Partly cloudy weather with scattered rain was observed in the city here Wednesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.

Met officials said a westerly wave is still affecting upper parts of the country. They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, more rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala Divisions, Islamabad, Upper Fata, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded at Chhor where mercury reached up to 43°C while in Lahore, it was 28°C, minimum was 16.8°C and humidity level was 45 percent.
