GHALLANAI: A private library Thursday distributed books among the poor and needy students through its mobile service in Michini area in Mohmand Agency.
Founder of the library Najeebullah Mohmand distributed the books among the students at an event held in Bhai Kor locality here.
Tribal elders and students attended the event in a large number. Social worker Gul Nawaz Mohmand, Bakht Shad, Shafiqullah, Arshad Khan and others were also present on the occasion.
The students were given engineering, sciences, humanity, religious and other general knowledge books.
Najeebullah said there were very limited education facilities in tribal areas due to which a huge number of students could not complete their studies particularly higher education.
He said the initiative was aimed at providing the needy and talented students required books for study to prepare for examinations and improve their general knowledge.
