The famous saying ‘justice delayed is justice denied’ demonstrates the importance of speedy justice. It is the duty of the government to ensure that the social and economic wellbeing of citizens. However, in our country, the plight of the people is often ignored by the authorities concerned. There are so many cases that are pending in court, but the authorities have not taken any action to hear them in a timely manner.
This is the sad state of affairs which should be looked into. A society where speedy justice is the norm can touch the skies of progress. It is time the authorities concerned worked in an effective manner to provide justice to the people.
