PESHAWAR: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Thursday approved 20 projects worth Rs 8543.837 million.
The approval was accorded at a meeting of the PDWP which was chaired by Shahzad Khan Bangash and additional chief secretary. The meeting was attended by Zahir Shah, Secretary P&D Department, its members and respective administrative secretaries.
The forum considered 27 projects pertaining to different sectors including Law & Justice, Industries, Water, Agriculture, Multi- Sectoral Development, Local Government, Higher Education, Building and Roads sectors for the uplift of the province. The forum approved 20 projects with an estimated cost of Rs. 8543.837 million, while seven projects were deferred due to inadequate design.
