No wars, only peace

February 23, 2018

Pakistan must adopt an avowed policy to play its mediatory role in settling the dispute between the two friendly countries – Iran and Saudi Arabia – and not to become a part of dispute. In the case of the Yemen conflict, Pakistan should restrict its forces only to safeguard the holy places of Makkah and Medina and not to go for military offensive.

This balanced approach will not spoil our relations with Saudi Arabia. Pakistan has already suffered a great deal in the past by acting as a proxy of the US.
