Robbers kill old man in Cantt
LAHORE: An 80-year-old man was killed by unidentified robbers in North Cantonment on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Saghir. He was on his way back after withdrawing cash from a local back when some robbers shot at him. As a result of which, he got serious injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police shifted the body to morgue. Labourer faint: A labourer was fainted after a fire broke out in a local factory on Raiwind Road on Wednesday.
Reportedly, the cause of fire was said to be short circuit. The firefighters extinguished the fire after hectic efforts. The labourer, identified as Khawar, went unconscious due to smoke emitting from the flames. He was admitted to a local hospital where his condition was said to be out of danger.

The arrested accused, Shahzeb, had killed his paternal aunt, Allah Rakhi, during a robbery bid in her house. The SSP investigation has announced commendatory certificates for the police team.

In another raid, FIA Cyber Crime Circle arrested an accused, Ahmad Butt of Sialkot, in FIR No. 26/18 for his alleged involvement in bitcoin/virtual currency trading which is an illegal activity/business.
According to FIA, the illegal act of the accused also covered the dealing of international/national currencies across border.

National Hospital and Medical College Head of Department of Neurosurgery Dr Salman Sharif will be the host.
Dr Khalid has called the workshop to be useful for the young doctors. He said, “to represent Pakistan in this international forum was an honor where he would share his experiences with juniors”.
