Intel equips RIS classrooms

Teachers of Roots International Schools (RIS) were trained by Intel representative Rubina Jahangir during a three-day session which covered the essential modules on classroom teaching.
Roots International Schools organised Intel training including a series of free, high interest, professional development courses that provide deep exploration of 21st century learning concepts. Each course was modular, with interactive activities and exercises to help access the content. Around 500 teachers from nationwide RIS campuses participated in this interactive workshop. The trainer Rubina Jahangir covered the project based approach, collaboration and assessment approach. After covering these courses participants showcased their initial ideas for the project in form of presentations as a post training activity.
The training had been organised to equip the teachers with establish a familiarity with project-based learning, technology integration, student-centered assessment practices, and questioning strategies. RIS has been Intel Learning partner for more than two decades and has integrated the Intel education philosophies as a core methodology. All the teachers are trained by trainer provided by Intel.
