The road near Block 8-A in Johar is in a dilapidated condition. As a result, a large number of vehicles are finding it difficult to ply on this road, especially from Gul Chowk to Hassan Chowrangi. There is also a drain under this road. This has resulted in countless accidents – especially at night. The problem has persisted since 2014.
A water sewerage line also spreads through this road. Therefore, one side of this road is unfit for use as it is inundated with water from the sewerage line. Mosquitoes have infested nearby localities and malaria has become a common ailment. No one has taken notice of this issue for a long time. The concerned authorities are strongly requested to help the residents of this area who have been inconvenienced by these problems.
