Nowshera PPP ends differences
PESHAWAR: The office-bearers from Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) from Nowshera district at a meeting with the provincial president Humayun Khan on Thursday formally announced to end differences and work for strengthening the party.
Led by the president Peshawar Division Liaqat Shabab, the members from district Nowshera, Pabbi tehsil and Jehangira, the members withdrew their resignations and vowed to work for strengthening the party.
The provincial finance secretary, Farzand Ali Khan, Tila Mohammad, Ghulam Hazrat, Iftikhar Ali Khan and Ilyas Khan were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, the provincial president, Hamayun Khan, directed the party’s leaders to complete the party’s organisations in their respective areas.
The members reposed confidence in party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and provincial president Humayun Khan.
Meanwhile, in a statement, former secretary of People’s Youth Organisation and member think-tank, Arsalan Khan Khattak, said Pakistan People’s Party would emerge strong in Nowshera district with the induction of Pir Zulfiqar Bacha.
