LAHORE: Secretary Sports Punjab Aamir Jan presided over a meeting of Sports Department Punjab’s Departmental Promotion Committee at Punjab Stadium on Wednesday.
Additional Secretary Sports Punjab Zahid Hussain, Deputy Secretary Sports Ahmed Kamal, Deputy Secretary S&GAD Muhammad Saleem also attended the meeting. The meeting approved the promotion of five provincial coaches to the post of senior provincial coaches from grade 17 to 18. Those who were promoted include Muhammad Sajid, M Nawaz Dogar, Shahid Nizami, Hafiz Tahir and Jamshed Iqbal.Twenty-one Tehsil Sports Officers (TSOs) have also been promoted from grade 16 to 17 as District Sports Officers.
This group includes Imran Butt, M Ramzan, Asif Sheikh, Ghulam Abbas, Shafiqur Rehman, Rana Masood, Ghulam Murtaza, Maqsoodul Hasan, Zawar Hussain, Tariq Mehmood, Waheed babar, Abdul Qayyum, Amir Hameed, Waheed Ahmed, Nisarul Haq, Ata ur Rehman, Shamsu Tauheed, Jameel Kamran, Amir Ausaf, M Asghar and M Ashfaq.
