ISLAMABAD: Chairman Hashoo Group Sadruddin Hashwani on Wednesday called for making the future of youth better through providing them ample opportunities of employment for peace, progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

“Unless and until the future of youth is secured, the dream of making Pakistan peaceful, prosperous and progressive will not be achieved,” he said while talking to The News and Jang on Wednesday.

He said that it was a fact that from the very first day of Pakistan’s existence India is threatening the stability of Pakistan and is involved in the acts of terrorism and is conspiring with inimical forces to weaken Pakistan’s economy. “It was need of the hour that India should be exposed at the International forums,” he suggested.

He said Pakistan was a gift from Almighty Allah but it was regrettable that we failed to protect this gift. We lost East Pakistan due to our flawed policies. He was critical of the foreign loans we are getting from every source available. “How long shall we continue with mounting debt? We have not used foreign debts judiciously and have failed to achieve the results for which we got one loan after the other,” he said.

Hashwani said that the enemies of Pakistan were busy in hatching conspiracies against Pakistan and unless and until the enemies’ designs are foiled it would be difficult to fulfil the dream of progress of the country.

Sadruddin Hashwani said Almighty Allah has provided all the resources to Pakistan, which could be utilised to make the country’s economy self-reliant. ‘But to achieve the goal of economic self-reliance, it was necessary that our political leadership shows the courage and sincerity with the country so that Pakistan is transformed into a peaceful, progressive and prosperous state for the future generations,” he said.

He said Pakistan’s Army was making all out efforts with other security forces in a war against terrorism to bring peace in the country. “The current situation calls for national unity but it is lacking at this critical time when Pakistan is in the grip of terrorism and other threats. The need of the hour is solid and unshakable unity in our ranks so that future of Pakistan could be made secure and peaceful with removing the weaknesses in the economy and through eradication of corruption,” he said.
