SWABI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) provincial president Amir Muqam on Friday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders hoodwinked the people with hollow slogans.
He was speaking after inaugurating a gas project worth Rs1.40 billion at Kunda Mor in National Assembly constituency NA-13, Swabi-II.
The PML-N leader Liaqat Ahmad Khan, MPA Shiraz Khan and party’s district president Iftikhar Ahmad Khan and officials of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) attended the gathering.
Addressing the gathering, Amir Muqam said the SNGPL worked under the federal government, but the PTI leaders claimed providing natural gas to the area in a bid to deceive the people. He said the PML-N leaders never made empty pledges like others and the inauguration of the gas project was its proof. “We have delivered on our pledges and are striving to come up to the expectations of the people,” he added.
